History
The Vietnam Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) was established under Decision No. 79/VH-QD, dated June 14, 1984, under the Ministry of Culture (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism). In the process of formation and development, VNSO has gradually achieved very encouraging achievements. Especially in the past 10 years, the orchestra has improved the quality of performing arts, not only received and appreciated by the audience, the press, music critics and colleagues in Vietnam, but also recognized in many countries in the region and the world through domestic and foreign tours.
